Marcel Massimo was born from a family tradition in textiles that dates back to 1960.
For more than six decades, our family has lived and worked within the world of fabrics, craftsmanship and garment making — passing its knowledge, experience and appreciation for quality from one generation to the next.
In 2013, third-generation textile entrepreneur TuÄŸrul Tantan carried this heritage forward by establishing Tantanlar Textile in Istanbul.
What began in a 250-square-meter space would become the foundation for something much greater: a contemporary menswear brand shaped by generations of manufacturing experience.
FROM TEXTILES TO MENSWEAR
Marcel Massimo began with a particular fascination: the men's shirt.
TuÄŸrul Tantan's personal interest in shirting, fabrics and the details behind a well-made garment became the starting point for the brand.
Drawing on decades of family knowledge in textiles and garment manufacturing, Marcel Massimo developed its own approach to menswear — combining distinctive patterns, refined details and contemporary silhouettes with the craftsmanship behind traditional garment making.
The result is clothing designed to make an impression without trying too hard.

Built on a foundation of environmental consciousness and driven by a sense of self-empowerment, we create timeless products that pay homage to the beauty of femininity.
For us, understanding clothing means understanding how it is made.
As demand grew, we expanded our manufacturing capabilities and established our garment production facility in BayrampaÅŸa, Istanbul, in 2017.
Today, our experience extends across both knitted and woven garments, giving us direct knowledge of the materials, construction and finishing techniques behind every piece.
This manufacturing culture remains an essential part of Marcel Massimo.
